Despite all efforts, it is possible that a defective item or an error in production or delivery escapes the vigilance of our quality control staff. The return policy at First Avenue Furnishings reflects the sincerity of our commitment to quality which binds us to our customers. Thus if the merchandise is received damaged or defective, please contact Tammy or Deb within 24 hours at our showroom, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm 306.933.2707.

Returns and exchanges due to damaged or non working items will be considered in conjunction with our manufacturers warranties & policy.

Returns to the showroom are permitted on regular price items with copy of receipt within 3 business days of purchase.  (Some exclusions apply – please see below)

All sale items are final sale.  All custom orders are final sale.

We highly recommend that you measure before you buy, to insure that the item will fit in your room.

Items that are non-refundable and cannot be changed, returned or cancelled are as follows:

  • custom orders
  • local art and consignment items
  • mattresses
  • open bedding, pillows, cushions
  • all large furnishings (sectionals, couches, coffee tables, end tables, dining tables, dining chairs, wicker sets, fountains, bar stools, etc.)

TammyDebThe following items may be returned or exchanged within a 3 day period, as long as it is returned in the original condition with original packaging.

  • accessories (except for linens and pillows)
  • rugs (provided no signs of use)
  • art (excluding commissioned art)

All clearance items or “as is” sales are final.

Warranty

The warranty policy at First Avenue Furnishings reflects the sincerity of our commitment to quality which binds us to our customers. Thus if something should go wrong with your purchase, First Avenue Furnishings is there to help. Please contact showroom, Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm 306.933.2707.

When purchasing small home decor items; we will inspect these items at the time of purchase to ensure they are in perfect condition.

Long term manufacturer warranties are not available on small home decor items.

We have numerous lines that include manufacturer warranty, and where additional stain protection can be purchased. It is our goal at First Avenue Furnishings to provide a quality product at fair and affordable prices.

*Most large items include delivery and set up within Saskatoon.

At time of delivery we ask that you carefully inspect the product that has been delivered.  The delivery team is trained to inspect the product as well and will point out any deficiencies that they see.

You will be required to sign a form that advises that there are no concerns or damages.

All further warranty claims would fall under the Manufacturer’s Warranty.  First Avenue Furnishings is happy to assist with any warranty requests.  All costs associated with warranty claims/delivery process is not the responsibility of First Avenue Furnishings.  The client will be responsible for the cost of delivery to and from the repair shop in Saskatoon.

Please note: should you require to pick up your product at our warehouse or showroom you will be asked to sign a waiver confirming the condition of the product when picked up and voiding any liability to First Avenue Furnishings when being transported in a personal vehicle.

Our moving companies insure their loads and their staff for any damages that might occur during transport.

*No long term warranty offered on outdoor wicker sets.  All outdoor wicker is considered Final Sale.
